Parkinson Association of Alabama Announces Partnership with Engage Care Partners LLC

The Parkinson Association of Alabama (PAA) has contracted with Engage Care Partners LLC to conduct an analysis for the revitalization of the Parkinson Disease Resource Center (PDRC) and Care Navigation programs originally launched in 2018. The goal of the project is to collect input from those impacted by Parkinson's Disease throughout the state of Alabama for the resources and connections they need upon diagnosis and throughout the journey.

"We want the PAA to be the GO TO Resource for the State of Alabama for everything related to Parkinson's," says Brian Corbett, President of PAA. "We believe that Engage Care Partners brings a wealth of experience and passion to help us do just that."

Owner of Engage Care Partners LLC, Brooklyn White, has experienced Parkinson's firsthand with both her grandmother and father having been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. That, combined with Brooklyn's previous experience and marketing career makes her the perfect match to help the PAA expand and revitalize the program.

Over the course of the next few months, Engage Care Partners will be conducting interviews, focus groups, and surveys to those connected with the PAA to help determine the best approach for expanding PAA's resources and support the PAA can provide to those living with Parkinson's and their care partners.

"While we have had a great start in providing these resources to date, launched many support groups, and have had some excellent care navigators since inception, we believe we can do more to extend our reach and bring greater awareness to the programs we offer to help those living with Parkinson's and their care partners today," claims Bibby Bailey, PAA Executive Director.

If you are impacted with Parkinson's or a care partner, currently connected with the PAA, or involved in a support group, don't be surprised if you are asked to offer input to help shape the future of the resources and services the PAA will provide soon. If you would like to support the funding of this project, you can make a donation and earmark it for PAA's Care Navigation program.

"I am thrilled with the opportunity to partner with the PAA," says Brooklyn White, owner of Engage Care Partners LLC. "I believe we will be able to make PAA the GO TO resource for everything Parkinson's in the State of Alabama. And I can't think of a better way to honor my grandmother and father's memory by being able to do so. I am so appreciative of the trust and confidence the PAA has in allowing me to help with this project."

Look for updates soon about the many resources and services the PAA will be able to provide. To learn more about the Parkinson Association of Alabama, visit To learn more about Engage Care Partners, visit
